Nevada FCCLA Awards

Administrator of the Year recognizes the outstanding support of a school administrator to the local chapter adviser and members of FCCLA. An administrator may be nominated by a student, educator, colleague, or parent.

The National Leadership Honor Roll recognizes FCCLA members who achieve academic, leadership, and career success. Members who achieve National Leadership Honor Roll distinction will receive recognition at the State Leadership Conference. Honorees will also receive a certificate and lapel pin to commemorate their achievement. Candidates submit an online recognition form.

The Nevada FCCLA Member of the Year is a role model for peers and a representation of the bright future Nevada FCCLA cultivates for students across the state. Their unwavering commitment to excellence, leadership, and service exemplifies the values that guide FCCLA and set the standard for others to follow.
This award recognizes a member who embodies the values and principles of Nevada FCCLA, highlighting their commitment to leadership, dedication to service and devotion to change. Through visionary projects, meaningful service, or outstanding mentorship, this award recipient transcends individual achievement to create a lasting impact on their chapter, school, and community.

Nevada FCCLA offers one $500 scholarship to a senior member attending a post-secondary institution. Candidates submit an online application and complete an in-person interview at State Leadership Conference.

Power of One helps members to find and use their personal power. Members set their own goals, work to achieve them, and enjoy the results. The skills members learn in Power of One help them now and in the future with school, friends and family, and on the job.

FCCLA offers national recognition to members who complete all five (5) FCCLA Power of One units. This honor includes special recognition on the FCCLA website, and at the National Leadership Conference. Deadline: Applications must be submitted online to FCCLA by March 1. The online award system will automatically close March 1, 5:00 PM EST.

Advisers should consider the following when making nominations: belief in FCCLA’s mission, student support for success, encouragement of positive character development, dedication to nurturing leaders, and being a current FCCLA adviser. One adviser will be selected annually. This is a state and national award.

4/5 Year Award recognizes dedicated student members of FCCLA who have been a member for 4 or 5 years. Submissions are accepted through an online recognition form.

Nevada FCCLA State Conference Recognition

Recognizes the top 3 chapters with the most registered members in attendance at SLC.

Chapter membership registration data will be reviewed on February 1st.
Chapters that demonstrate growth from the previous year will be recognized as follows:

  • Bronze Award: Increase of 10 additional members
  • Silver Award: Increase of 15 additional members
  • Gold Award: Increase of 20 additional members

The chapter with the largest overall membership will receive the Ultimate Chapter
Award.

Nevada FCCLA will honor the top three members and top three
chapters with the highest number of approved service-learning hours submitted through the My
Journey student portal. These awards celebrate outstanding dedication to community service,
leadership, and making a positive impact across Nevada.

Nevada FCCLA is proud to welcome and celebrate our newly affiliated chapters
at the State Leadership Conference. During the Opening Session, one representative from each
new chapter will be invited on stage to be recognized for their commitment to student
leadership, career development, and becoming part of our growing FCCLA community.

Nevada FCCLA is excited to honor our reinstated chapters at the State
Leadership Conference. To celebrate their renewed engagement and commitment to FCCLA,
one representative from each reinstated chapter will be invited to the stage for formal
recognition during the conference.
